THIRD
ANNIVERSARY OF YOUTUBE CHANNEL “ SURGICAL EDUCATOR” AND SELF APPRAISAL
Dear
viewers,
·Greetings
from “Surgical Educator” to all of you.
·Today
is the third anniversary for the YouTube channel “Surgical Educator”
·I
launched this channel exactly three years ago on the same day- 16/12/2015- to
teach surgery to medical students and surgical trainees.
·I
primarily launched this channel to teach students of my own institution- Melaka
Manipal Medical College, Malaysia. However, since YouTube is an excellent
global platform, I am able to reach out to students all over the world.
·I
love creating videos because it’s a powerful way to communicate, inspire and
transform people’s life. After all, if “a picture is worth a thousand words”, I
wonder what the worth of a video may be.
·So
far, I have uploaded 108 videos and the channel has recently crossed the
milestones of 362Ks views and 10.2Ks subscribers.
·To
maintain the quality of my content, I am sharing all my videos in more than 120
Facebook groups- majority of them are surgical groups- so that if there are any
mistakes it will be pointed out in the comment section of the YouTube and I
also can rectify them.
·By
God’s grace, the major unique achievement of this channel is maintaining the
first rank in YouTube SEO ranking continuously for the past one year. I am also
getting many positive feedbacks from viewers across the world.
·I honestly want to present quality surgical
teaching videos to all my viewers and make their learning of surgery easy, fun
and effective. I believe my teaching videos are making good impact on it’s
viewers.
·I
humbly request all my viewers to help me in this mission of reaching out to as
many medical students as possible with quality surgical teaching videos, by
actively sharing these videos in your social medias. Also give your valuable
suggestions to improve this channel further.
