Dear Viewers,
·        Greetings from “ Surgical Educator”
·        Today I have uploaded a video on “Ingested Foreign Body- no piece of cake”.
·        Ingestion of foreign body is a common problem in children
·        In adults it is common in mentally retarded patients, psychiatric patients, prisoners and edentulous patients
·        Fortunately most of them pass through GIT harmlessly
·        10 to 20 % need non-operative endoscopic procedures to remove these objects. Only 1% need surgical intervention
·        I have discussed about epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, classification, clinical features, investigations, treatment and prevention of Ingested Foreign Body
·        It is a fascinating and challenging problem. I hope this video will be useful to you and you will enjoy it.
